ALLAH LAS announce new single ‘Prazer Em Te Conhecer’ and hit our shores for a short sold out run around the UK next week! NS say catch them whilst the sun still shines

New album LAHS released 11th October 2019 on Mexican Summer

Allah Las have always been fascinated with both the carefree spirit and glitter-in-the-gutter lifestyle of their hometown LA. After three records mining its lore and lure (from the desert to the sea) and having taken their compact California on the road across the world, they couldn’t help but peek through the other end of the telescope.

Those familiar with the band’s work will recognise their skillful melding of melodies and moods, but through a wider lens we see them venturing into new, exciting territories on their fourth longplayer LAHS. Their growth is clearly audible, quite literally, with the new single “Prazer Em Te Conhecer” (Nice to Meet You) sung in Portuguese. Drummer Matthew Correia sings over a lick that evokes George Harrison, whilst musically sounding like a rare 45 from a Brazilian flea market.

Simply titled LAHS (a reference to a common nickname for the band), their forthcoming release on Mexican Summer finds a band at the peak of their powers. They hit our shores for a short sold out run around the UK next week:
