Shed Seven re-release “Going for Gold”

Shed Seven are due to release a deluxe expanded edition of: ‘Going For Gold’. Set to be re-issued on the 18th October on Gold-coloured vinyl, marking the 20th Anniversary of their seminal singles collection. The compilation will be something of a victory lap of the band’s historic Britpop years. With all featured tracks written and recorded by the original line-up of Shed Seven, the compilation brings together the very best of the band’s first three studio albums (‘Change Giver,’ ‘Maximum High,’ & ‘Let It Ride’), plus the twelve Top 40 singles clocked-up from their formation up to 1999. The album has been newly remastered in-full at the iconic Abbey Road Studios, London. This deluxe two-vinyl set will also include the Parr Street Sessions; four fan favourites exclusively reimagined and recorded for the 1999 special edition CD version of ‘Going For Gold’ and now available on vinyl for the first time. The 2019 re-issue will also feature two previously unreleased live tracks from Shed Seven’s legendary Live at The Forum performance (recorded in London, 15.11.1996).  Since rising to fame in the 90s as one of the leading lights of Britpop, in 2017 Shed Seven released their first new album in 16 years ‘Instant Pleasures’, which went top ten and achieved acclaim across the board.
