LOTTERY WINNERS ANNOUNCE NEW SINGLE “HAWAII” AND DEBUT ALBUM

Lottery Winners have announced the first track to be released from their self-titled debut album, which is due for release on 13th March 2020 via Modern Sky UK.

Recorded at legendary Rockfield Studios, ‘Hawaii‘ is a bonafide indie-pop thumper that is surely the perfect soundtrack to a brighter day, no matter the weather. “Growing up on the grey streets of Leigh, it’s ahrd for a boy not to dream of greener pastures” explains frontman Thom Rylance. “How many people spend their whole life waiting for the summer? It’s foolish to live in the dark.”

‘Hawaii‘ puts Lottery Winners firmly on the map, showcasing the band’s danceable hooks, huge choruses, and off-centre guitar-pop swagger that has already been earning them an enviable fanbase up and down the country. You can listen to the track here.

The new release landed ahead of the band’s headline tour which kicked off in London on the 27th September, followed by a sold-out visit to Manchester and then on to Lincoln, Bristol, Leeds, Bournemouth and Guildford. Dates in Liverpool, Stockton, Glasgow and Stoke also follow this November.

Starting in the pubs and working men’s clubs of Lancashire (including the legendary Phoenix Nights) this fierce foursome has truly grafted to reap the rewards. Now signed to Modern Sky UK, 2019 has already seen Thom, Kate, Rob and Joe winning over a slew of audiences across the UK and Europe, with support for the likes of Catfish and the Bottlemen, Madness, Larkins, The Libertines, Circa Waves, Sleeper, Cassia, Paul Heaton and a storming Glastonbury debut in June.
