MAC DEMARCO ANNOUNCES SPECIAL GUESTS FOR UK & EIRE SHOWS

MAC DEMARCO AND HIS BAND RETURN TO UK AND EUROPE NEXT MONTH

Next month, Mac Demarco and his band will return to the UK and Europe, with five shows in the UK including his biggest London show to date at Alexandra Palace on 21st November 2019.

The UK leg of the tour will also call at Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and Liverpool. Mac has announced Orville Peck, the leather fringe-masked rising country star as the special guest for London’s Alexandra Palace, and has now announced the support for the rest of the UK and European run. This is courtesy of the Cumbia-infused instrumental act, Los Bitchos.

Tickets are available now for the tour (which you can get here) and you can see below for full live dates and details of supports.

Mac’s fourth full-length album, Here Comes The Cowboy, is our now via Mac’s Record Label (distributed in the UK via Caroline International). The record was written, tracked and mixed at DeMarco’s Jizz Jazz Studios in Los Angeles during the first two weeks of an exceptionally rainy January of this year. Nearly every instrument on the album was played by DeMarco, aside from keyboards on select tracks, which was instead played by touring member and close friend Alex Meen. Travelling sound engineer, Joe Santarpia, helped shape the record, sharing engineering and mixing duties with DeMarco.

You can stream the album here.
