Single Review – ‘Fall Around’ by False Heads

One of the best live bands in the world” – Danny Fields (ex-Ramones manager)

East Londoners False Heads have had a big 2019 as it goes. They’ve played summer sets at Camden Rocks, 2000 Trees and The Great Escape, as well as having played numerous dates across the UK and Europe. Now they have signed to Lovers Music and have just released their first single with the label. ‘Fall Around‘ is the lead-out track from their upcoming debut album which is coming out next year.

This is a solid first track from this punk rock trio. Opening with a balancing act between each instrument, drum beat, a catchy glimpse at the chorus riff then leads into a brilliant yet simple bass hook over the verse. This band definitely grab your attention from the word go!

The track quickly builds up to an infectious chorus, with a full sounding guitar riff that is matched with the impressive vocals of Luke Griffiths. The way he manipulates his vocals gives a very raw and original punk feel to the track.

Based on this single, we can’t wait to see what the boys bring when they release their debut album!
