The image above features the legendary Muscle Shoals Sound Studio where Lynyrd Skynyrd were known to record and a blurred out image of a vinyl record….of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s 1973 album “Pronounced ‘Lĕh-‘nérd ‘Skin-‘nérd“.

Fans of the festival have been requesting Skynyrd to headline the festival for a couple of years now and it looks like it will finally happen. The same week the band will be touring Germany so it only seems right they stop over in the UK to headline a festival they’re perfect for, on what Skynyrd say is their farewell tour.
