THE BACKSTORY:
Even though the band formed in 2012, the band seem more fresh and relevant than ever. Like a matured fine wine that develops more of that je-ne-sais-qoui with age. Forming in the town of Fleet in 2014, the band went on to support the likes of PVRIS, Nothing But Thieves and You Me At Six and even earning multiple slots at the Isle of Wight Festival.
Edith Bowman describes the band as the “love child of Biffy Clyro and Bastille” and we think she has absolutely nailed it in this description. Achieving incredible streaming numbers independently and even being Number 1 in Spotify Sweden’s independent chart – it’s great to see the band keep pushing on and demonstrating that great things can be achieved without the backing of a label, and independent artists can make things happen.
We can’t wait to find out what the band might have in store for the rest of the year.
