Billie Eilish impact gathers pace in singles and albums charts
The Official Charts Company Midweek Sales Flash is in, and Billie Eilish is heading towards 40,000 sales for her debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?
Eilish is racing ahead of her nearest competitors, Tom Walker’s What A Time To Be Alive (10,202 sales) and The Greatest Showman (10,103 sales). George Ezra is at No.4 with Staying At Tamara’s (8,438 sales) and Jack Savoretti’s Singing To Strangers (7,805 sales) completes the Top 5.
In the singles chart, there’s still no catching Lewis Capaldi. The Scot’s Someone You Loved (38,823 sales) is ahead of longtime challenger Giant (29,527 sales) by Calvin Harris & Rag’N’Bone Man. Eilish is at No.3 with Bad Guy (29,462 sales), while Tom Walker’s Just You And I (24,469 sales) and Jonas Brothers’ Sucker (20,821 sales) complete the Top 5.
