John Frusciante Rejoins Red Hot Chilli Peppers

After a decade, Red Hot Chilli Peppers make a shock announcement of Frusciante’s Return to the band.

John Frusciante left the Red Hot Chilli Peppers over 10 years ago and was replaced by the brilliant Josh Klinghoffer who has been a constant member of the band since.

Yesterday (16th Dec), Red Hot Chilli Peppers took to their Instagram to update their 3.6 million followers on the band’s current line up.

The post was as follows:

As seen from the comments, all RHCP fans have responded ecstatically to this announcement, nothing negative towards Josh Klinghoffer as fans appreciate and respect him as a musician. The excitement to have John Frusciante finally return to the band to reassemble the classic line up of RHCP we all knew so well, is something too good to be true!

Frusciante was a member of RHCP for the albums Mother’s Milk and Sugar Sex Magik. He also appeared on the albums Californication, By the Way, and Stadium Arcadium before leaving the band in 2009.

This means some exciting things coming in the near future!
