Close Up Festival announce rescheduled dates and line up additions

Already with a reputation for showcasing up-and-coming British talent, Close Up Festival has announced their rescheduled festival dates for this year on September 11th and 12th taking the event to 300 capacity venue Colours in London. On top of this, the festival has added another three hotly tipped bands to the bill in the shape of Sad Boys Club, The New Coast & SPQR.

Festival organiser Sam Tucker states “They’ll be joining what is already our most exciting & biggest lineup to date” – a line up which already includes Sophie & The Giants (Fri Headline), Diskopunk, Only Sun (Fri), VALERAS, Corella, PATAWAWA (Fri) and Llovers – “With a minor reshape, we’re putting all acts in the top specification 300 capacity live room at Colours, which means even bigger & better acts, that can be enjoyed in the best sonic/aesthetic way.”

CLOSE UP FESTIVAL 2020 – LINE UP SO FAR

“This year is undoubtedly our biggest lineup to date, something we are truly proud of, with the acts performing combined having 25m+ streams and selling thousands of tickets at their last London shows collectively.” – Sam Tucker

We can’t wait for the lockdown to end, and to get the first Avanti rail train down there to attend, pint in hand and enjoying watching banging new acts and catch Sad Boys Club in person, who took part in our series of live-streamed events over on the New Sounds Instagram ( @newsoundsuk ).
