THE BACKSTORY:
Having released her latest EP “Mad” almost exaclty a year to the day ago, Laoise, pronounced “Leesha” hails from Galway, Ireland. Growing up speaking both English and Irish (Gaelig) she states that “this has helped me recognise the different ways people describe things” and has been writing music since an early age.
Creating up-beat and catchy electropop music, Laoise was nominated for the RTÉ Choice Music Prize for the Song of The Year award in 2018 in her native Ireland. This was followed up in 2019 with the release of “Mad”, and subsequently selling out her first headline show at Lost Lane in Dublin. Adding to these early accolades the acoustic version of “Again” sits at above 2Million streams.
