A VIRTUAL FESTIVAL STREAMING VIA THE SSE ARENA, WEMBLEY STRAIGHT INTO HOMES AROUND THE GLOBE ON THE EARLY MAY BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND, RAISING FUNDS & AWARENESS FOR WOMEN’S AID

The inaugural two day event, curated by award winning radio & TV presenter Abbie McCarthy (BBC Introducing / BBC Radio 1 / 4Music), will include performances from some of the most exciting names in music – Jade Bird, Emeli Sande, Maisie Peters, YUNGBLUD, Nadine Shah, Freya Ridings, Nina Nesbitt, James Bay, Tones & I, Georgia, The Kooks, Years and Years & many more, with exciting special guests added to the billing.

“It’s fantastic to have so many talented artists on one bill, all pulling together to raise money for a brilliant cause. I want people to don their festival attire, get the drinks in and enjoy a great weekend of music!” – Abbie McCarthy

At a time where festival season would normally be kickstarting, with music fans seeing their favourite artists live and making ever-lasting memories with friends, Unity 2020 will be aiming to fill this void, bringing everyone together through the power of great music and raising funds for an important cause in Women’s Aid.

Unity 2020 takes place on Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th May and it’s looking set to be a weekend to remember, initially streaming live from SSE Wembley Arena’s Facebook page from 2pm on Saturday and Sunday. With a line up not to be missed Freya Ridings says “I’m genuinely so humbled to be part of Unity Festival 2020 for Women’s Aid, it’s such an honour. I’m going to be playing you some songs from my piano at home in London”
