MANCHESTER’S REFORM RADIO ARE HOSTING A VIRTUAL PARTY TOMORROW FOR TRANS JUSTICE FUNDING PROJECT

While nights out are still off the cards, Jägermeister and Reform Radio are bringing the party home this Saturday 27th June from 10pm-12am with an international line up.

Manchester’s very own Juke Joint will be getting things going from 10pm, bringing you energetic footwork and Chicago juke – guaranteed to get your feet workin’ and body jukin’. From 11pm, New York’s prolific DJ Kush Jones will be taking the reins, bringing more fast-tempo, rhythmic, bouncy footwork that will transport you to the depths of a club in the comfort of your own home. TOG Footwork Crew, a dance collective from Chicago will also be joining the party – cutting shapes and setting the pace.

The event is free for all to join in but donations are welcome. A Just Giving page has been set up to collect donations for Trans Justice Funding Project, a community-led funding initiative to support grassroots, trans-justice groups run by and for trans-people in the US. The link to donate will be on the Facebook event.

To join the party, head to Reform’s Facebook page where they will be posting a Zoom link at 8pm on Saturday. It will be a social video-call set-up and they encourage to join with your camera so you can flex your best footwork moves in your isolation home-club set up! The sets will also be available to just stream live on Reform Radio’s Facebook page
