Manchester’s own ‘Pacific’ back with the anthemic new track, ‘Last Life’.

Pacific boldly reveals more of what they’re all about in enigmatic new single ‘Last Life’.

Since the last time I spoke about the band, they sure have been busy. Kicking off 2020 with the impressive single ‘Idols’, really set the tone this year for the guys. The single collected six BBC introducing spins, with other radio coverage from XS Manchester, Amazing Radio, and Jack FM.

“Enter “Last Life”, a daring new release recorded by Kaiser Chiefs producer David Watts, which divulges Pacific have bags of creativity to spare after 2020 debut Idols. The song speaks of undisclosed inner-imagination, a desire to live out a doomed fantasy with the one person who you should actively avoid. It’s destined to end up in flames, but living in a time that’s reminding us of how fleeting life can be – can you fight the temptation to risk another round with the one who makes you feel most alive?”

I think it’s safe to say that the guys took the sour 2020 lemons and made an ice-cool batch of lemo. Some came out of lockdown with a new bod, Pacific came out with an anthem.

Since lockdown, the group has shown no signs of slowing down, even despite the COVID-19 stormy conditions. We’ve witnessed an abundance of successful live streams over on Instagram, especially the Jimmys one – that was class. However, as much as the live streams are enjoyable, I do urge you to see the guys live, they bring a whole new energy.

If you want in on the action, Pacific now have their rescheduled headline show at Gorilla, Manchester set for Friday 25th September 2020, plus festival dates at Liverpool Sound City and Hit the North Festival later in the year.
