So-called ‘punk’ rock duo Slaves, famously known (by name and attitude) for making statements about modern society’s place enslaved under the boot, have now issued a 3 page bulletin, announcing a change in band name, apologizing ‘sincerely’ to anyone dim enough to take the slightest offence to their (already race-neutral) band name.
It would be good to mask this one as a joke marketing stunt. But if not we look forward with open arms to seeing Soft Play in the ball pit, providing the most comfortable and inoffensive musical soundtrack for the woke language police of 2023.
