Introducing – Treeboy & Arc

With their self described ‘Post-punk fuzz’, Leeds based band ‘Treeboy & Arc’ offer an eclectic range of chaos, noise, and pandemonium through their already well-built catalogue and live performance, asserting themselves as one of the hottest prospects the UK has to offer.

Now radio regulars on new music orientated ‘Amazing Radio’ and ‘BBC Introducing’ alike, it’s fair to say that the ball is beginning to roll along the road to success for this band. Having been at the center of Leeds’ local venue circuit for the last couple years, sharing bills with the likes of Parquet Courts, Wytches, and Rolling Blackouts C.F along the way, the band have recently turned their attentions to taking on the UK, carrying out their first co-headline tour alongside fellow Leeds bred band ‘Chest Pains’ at the back end of 2018.

Their most recent release ‘Plastic Front’ continues to prove their quality, offering a real dystopian atmosphere with its Banshees-esque guitar play and gritty Northern vocals, soon becoming a staple of their sound, working together  to create a style that I could only describe as ‘Jangle-thrash’ post-punk… and it’s great.

This April/May the band will embark on a tour supporting CROWS across a range of cities in the UK. With very little announced, as of yet, for shows over the summer, make sure to get down and see them when they’re in or around your city.
