Fuzzy Sun release new single ‘I Ain’t Right’

Starting the party at their leisure, languid disco merchants, Fuzzy Sun cut loose with their first single of 2019, the infectiously pulsing ‘I Ain’t Right’ – OUT NOW on Very Clever Records.

Showing off their bona fide pop chops by holing up with hit-maker, Cam Blackwood, producer of acts as wide-ranging as British Sea Power and George Ezra, new material from the fresh five-piece coincides with new live shows, including a run of UK arena dates with Two Door Cinema Club.

Taking time to describe I Ain’t Right as: “the soundtrack to a Richard Curtis movie set in Studio 54 in the late 1970’s, starring John Travolta as he seeks to repair ties with an unrequited love,”Fuzzy Sun’s hazy vision of glitter balls, dry ice and high times in New York City collide seductively with the northern realities right outside their window. Fans can be grateful that the band’s hallucinatory escapism proves so contagious, with the precision-crafted, three minute groover now all theirs to get completely lost in.

Fuzzy Sun’s April 2019, debut UK headline tour gave them the opportunity to get down with their growing fan base, including sold out shows at both London Camden Assembly and Manchester Club Academy. Critical approval only helps their cause, with NME including Fuzzy Sun as one of their Top 100 Essential Artists for 2019. 2018 releases, Heavy and Eve leapt onto the nation’s airwaves, snatching places on the BBC MusicIntroducing playlist.

Borrowing their mantra from Snarky Puppy, Fuzzy Sun ‘make music for both brain and booty’ and, with barely 18 months as a band behind them, frontman, Kyle Ross, bassist, Lewis Jobson, drummer, Mitch Bancroft, keyboard player, Daisy Valentine and guitarist, Raffaele Pani strain to keep all ten feet on the ground as ever more people stop by to demand a piece of their action. Already they’ve delivered two EPs, picked up the City Life Award for Best Breakthrough Act, appeared on major festival stages including The Great Escape and supported Blossoms at their historic, sold out hometown stadium show at Stockport County’s Edgeley Park in July 2019.
